All our Shih Tzus have amazing temperaments. They are raised with kids, adults and other dogs of all sizes, and of corse under our feet. We feel this is what makes our dogs & puppies have the best of everything.
You could not ask for a better puppy or dog from Tatnicland.

Tatnicland Shih Tzus are in the range of 7-12 pounds. We do not bred for the tinies or the ones on the bigger scale. In saying this it does not mean we don't get 5 or 15 pounds dogs at time. Most of our dogs and puppies are/and will be in the Shih Tzu AKC standard. Bloodlines do play a big part in size also. This means our puppies will be good size for the young and the young at heart. They will be good size for kids wanting to play dress up, light wrestling, hiking with an active family or just to find a nice warm lap to curl up on.

Shih Tzus are considered a non-shedding & hypo allergenic breed. They have hair not fur. With these traits they are very appealing to a lot of people.

They are a hardy breed considering their size. The one thing we love about this breed is the range of colors they come in. We love the harder colors to find and produce.

We have a small breeding program of AKC Shih Tzus. This assures quality not quantity. Also assures that we have time for all our adults and puppies. We are not a kennel in anyway. All our dogs share our home and everyday life even the bed. We bring them with us as much as possible. It is important to make sure they are well socialized and stay that way through out their lives. 

We are into bloodlines. We look for or breed bloodlines that we know will complement our program. Health is also the up most importance. Health and lines go hand in hand. 
Temparment also plays a huge part here at Tatnicland.
Size and color are also in our minds when breeding but not top priority. We only have as many litters a year that we know we can handle to make sure we have time to devote to each puppy and the mommies.
