Mollie and her family at Tatnicland Shih Tzu were amazing to work with! They were very kind, friendly, clean & flexible. Mollie is very loving to all her puppies (young & old). She is very organized and professional.

Our puppy Lexi is wonderful! She is healthy & loving. She is definitely a lap dog. She loves to give hugs and snuggle. Her coat is so soft. Everyone that pets her comments on it. Lexi is hilarious. She enjoys playing ball, wrestling with kids & other dogs.. she even enjoys playing with the occasional cat that is willing to humor her. Lexi house trained easily. She took a few obedience classes & loved going to school. Lexi is a curious dog & we take her everywhere. Lexi is not a big barker. She goes boating, camping, on small hikes, soccer games, paddle boarding with the kids, and has even taken a few rides out on the golf course. We LOVE Lexi and are thankful everyday that she is part of our family. We highly recommend Mollie at Tatnicland Shih Tzu.

This is oya. S’more and cargo are his parents. He is 4 years old.  He is very smart. He has now obtained a akc performer level trick class. Now working on performer elite.  His temperament is so great. When i got him from Mollie he was 8 weeks old.  One thing people always say is they love his coloring.  He was well socialized when I received him. He is a good representative of the Shih Tzu breed.  If and when I decide to get another dog it certainly be from mollie. I knows she has the knowledge and cares about the breed.

The first day, I called to look for a breeder, I knew within minutes that THIS would be the family breeder I would get my pup from. We had talked about the new pup, the pups I had, my aging pup and the fact that I replaced not being able to have children... with my pups. My pups... were my FUR-BABIES. 

I explained what I was looking for in a Shitzu, and that her name would be Gibson... and when they found her amongst a new litter to contact me. When Gibson was born, Mollie knew. She text me with a pic and the heading

We could not be happier with our dogs or Mollie.
Our dogs are the most well-adjusted, calm, HANDSOME boys! They are very sweet and loving, and wonderful with our daughter. They follow her around and are great “guard dogs”. They are very laidback and love their naps and belly rubs:)
There is no doubt the significance of their good breeding.
The process with Mollie was wonderful and she always responded quickly and took the time to answer my questions.
Again, we are so grateful for our two boys- they truly are family (they are currently laying on my lap as I write this) and I cannot imagine a moment without them!

We picked up our little bundle from Molly at Tatnicland a few years ago.  Tzusie is smart as a whip, was very easily trained, independent, healthy, cuddly little dog!  Mollie was very professional to deal with, her home environment contained some spoiled little dogs and what a difference a knowledgable breeder makes in the breed characteristics - when I take Tzusie for walks she struts just like a show dog would and my groomer comments all the time about her being a “true Shih Tzu”.

I have recommended Molly to my friends and I an even thinking of adding another fur baby in the future!


When my husband and I went looking for a breeder and found Tatnicland of Maine  we knew we were in the right place by the way Mollie conducted herself with the utmost professionalism and love of the Shih Tzu breed.  Mollie and Danny dedicate their lives to breeding their puppies in  AKC standards.  We felt the love in their home as we were surrounded by gorgeous puppies who you could see were well cared for and loved. 
We were able to visit Brady, then named Ski Doo,  2x before our last visit was to take him home. 
Mollie takes all puppies for vet visits consistently  in Maine, we received updates and photos weekly telling us about how he was growing and telling us about his puppy milestones.     
Upon Brady coming home,  he knew his name and was pad trained already.  Brady is our treasure.  He's full of life love and energy.  We were sent home with a beautiful care package of a handmade blanket, food, articles to read, all of their pet / vet info and more!    I absolutely recommend Tatnicland ❤

Very courteous customer service, breeder Molly was great about communicating with me and sending us every detail/updates/pictures of our puppy before we received her. Very happy with our baby Delilaha her temperament, health, and cuteness!!  All exceptional. She receives compliments everywhere she goes.   Several people stop me and ask who was the breeder  after they see how sweet loving and well behaved she is..Not to mention looks like a perfect little doll  Seriously!!! stops traffic, people walking running and driving by just have to touch her she gets a lot of attention very special face my little supermodel. Most important everything was great very healthy puppy amazing temperment all shots and info provided. it's a smaller breeder that the puppy's are held loved and cared for by the whole family well socialized exactly the kind of breeder I was looking for these puppies are very special and unique each and every one of them were beautiful and so loved by a wonderful family if you're looking for a smaller breeder that puts a lot of effort into each and every puppy this is the breeder for you Molly is caring loving and very intrested in each and every 1 of her puppies .  The perfect breeder for anyone who wants the perfect shitzu. Delilah has many play groups and is one of the most loved puppies in every group. People stop all over place everywhere  and have to take a photo of her.

We picked Cricket up in Oct 2017 and have now had her for one full year. She has brought so much love and happiness to our family.  She gets along with everyone and is always happy.  Every step of the way working with Mollie was perfect.  From the start to finish.  We would always get our puppies from Mollie moving forward and would recommend her to anyone looking for a new puppy!

Hi mollie, I,m so happy to have found you as a breeder of mini-poodles in Maine…I was so impressed when I saw how well you care for all your dogs and also how you keep very detailed health records for your newborn dogs..I loved meeting the mother of my pups and the father and got to hold them both I felt that all your puppies get the best of care and  vet check ups before they get adopted into their new homes…the two "gift bags " was  so thoughtful! it contained so many helpful things for us to use for our "fur babies".the toys,homemade blankets, Bag of their high quality puppy food,and so much written info on the care of poodle puppies…I have used everything that you sent home with us,including the two feeding dishes we named our puppies CHARLOTTE BELLE and ZEKE…THANK YOU AGAIN MOLLIE! and thanks for the advice you have given me over the last 6 months!

Ace has been a phenomenal addition to my life! The last two years have been a simply wonderful time with Ace the wonder dog always by my side. I cannot think of any way at all he could be a better companion or as I call him “my best buddy”. 
At 10 weeks he and I flew down to FLORIDA Ace as my copilot and he did amazingly well on this 3 day 16 hour adventure. Since he goes everywhere I go he has logged close to 200 hours in our plane, stayed in many hotels, gone to the beach, we hike, walk, Kayak and bicycle together as well as go out to eat and shopping too. His behavior in restaurants is unbelievably excellent - he loves the praise he constantly gets!
He is also tremendously welcomed at the nursing home which we visit as often as possible. He’s made it his job to visit as many residents as he can and is sure to give extra attention to those who he knows needs it!
The response from everyone we meet is always the same - people cannot believe how handsome, friendly and well behaved he is. He now walks beside me off leash a good portion of the time as he has learned to ‘stay close’ even in potential dangerous areas!
He is fascinated by Helicopters and loves to sit and watch them fly by just a few feet off the ground - he doesn’t seem to care about the wind blast or noise and dirt flying - a true weirdo!
I absolutely love my little buddy Ace!

Suzie is a real Joy. She loves to be outside, she loves people especially children and other dogs big and small. Suzie can fetch and return a ball and other toys. She will obey some commands that I give her but mostly she does her won thing lol.

She has slept thought the night since I got her home now she can jump on the bed and sleeps with me. She likes to take naps on my lap. We go places together shopping, vacation and even took a boat to Martha's Vineyard. She loved it.

Mollie you were the best. I thank you for all her toys and blanket and mostly for her. 

I am so happy to have her.


I just wanted to reach out and share my families experience with Mollie and Tatnicland Shih Tzu.

From the start Mollie was very easy to talk with and her website was very helpful. Luckily we only lived a shirt 25 min away from her so allowed us to come and see her home and puppies and how she did things. Everything was very clean and all dogs where well cared for. You could tell she really enjoys her "job" it is a easily a labor of love. She breeds healthy dogs keeping to the breed standards and i believe a very responsible breeder.After we chose our puppy she allowed me to come and visit more than a few occasions before bringing him home! We fell immediately in love !!! Our Emmet is beautiful and happy and healthy and we couldn't be happier with our choice of breeders. 

Our dog Owen is a little more then a year old now and has been the perfect addition to our Family. He is incredibly good natured and is extremely playful and affectionate. Some of his favorite activities include playing with his stuffed squirrels, and squeaky toys,cuddling and giving kisses and enjoying jet ski rides at our lake house.
